How often?

I started spanking my wife some time ago. We've been married for threee years but this happened more recently. When I began with it, a change in her was very noticable. She has been much more, loving obedient and soft since I started this. I spank her about once a month, or when I feel it's needed. Do you think this is enough, or too little or too much? She doesn't really give me reasons to do it more often, but sometimes I think a more frequent spanking  would be good, as getting  spanked has such a good effect on her. On the other hand I don't want to make her totally submissive to me.

I always take her over my lap to spank her, with her panties down. I don't spank hard, but I keep at it for some time, using mostly my hand or sometimes her hairbrush. I always hug and comfort her after she's been spanked before I tell her to go to bed, and she's usually awake and waiting for me when I join her some time later on. She has never complained about getting spanked, but she's anxious that I don't say anything that makes her friends understand that she gets spanked. Once I overheard her talking to her sister om the phone, telling her that she got a spanking for overspending, so she's not totally shy about talking about it, though.

I think your wife enjoys the spanking, either as a sexual turn on or because she appreciates the attention you are giving her, maybe both.    In either case as long as you respect her limits and do not spank her against her wishes, have at it.  I dated a woman once who asked me to give her a spanking because she did something totally disrespectful to me.  For her, it was a punishment that in the end made her feel better, and got the episode behind us.  We never discussed the episode again, and I never spanked her again. To each his own.

Why do you think you can spank your wife?  Spanking is hitting. Hitting is assualt.  Assault is a crime.  I'm not trying to be rude but did you know your wife could report you to the police and have you arrested?

Nowhere in the Bible does God say a husband can spank his wife.  

It is demeaning to spank your wife.  That is not the relationship God intended for a marriage.  God says to love your wife like Christ loved the church and gave his life for the church.  Christ doesn't go around spanking us, but rather he brought us God's Grace and freed us from the law.  When Jesus was asked what to do with the woman caught in adultery, he didn't say spank her, or stone her, but rather he forgave her.  Christ forgives us and he wants you to forgive your wife.

You can be thankful your wife doesn't call the police.  She could get you put in jail.  My advise to you is to stop spanking your wife and ask her for forgiveness.  Explain to her that you did not understand God's intended relationship for marriage, but that now you have a litte better idea and so you want to do things God's way and resolve your differences by talking and with loving communication.  God says for us to submit to each other.  There is one verse that says she should submit to you but there is another verse that says you should submit to her. Sure you are the leader, but lead the way Christ leads - through love, not violence.

There are stories on this site about spanking wives, but that is only because the wife likes getting spanked and wants her husband to spank her.  So if your wife likes you to spank her and asks you to spank her, then I guess it is ok.

But if you are spanking her for some disciplinary reason or out of anger, then my friend you are crossing a line that can get you put in jail.  We don't want you to go to jail.
